Estimating and measuring!

Today in maths we are estimating objects, deciding what apparatus to use and then measuring them to see if we were right! 

Clear instructions

Today in literacy, we were thinking about the importance of giving clear instructions. 

Some of us were giving instructions on how to make a Lego tower, some were instructing how to make a play dough snowman and the rest of us were directing each other to imaginary treasure in the classroom. 

3D shapes

Today we used modelling materials to make 3D shapes. We found that using rulers and the tips of our fingers really helped. 

Listening or hearing?

Yesterday we acted out times when it is important to listen not just to hear.
