Black History Month

We have been looking at lots of significant people during Black History Month and last week we had a go at singing "I Wish" by Billy Taylor - although the most famous version is recorded by Nina Simone. This song became an anthem for the Civil Rights movement in America in the 1960s, where it was sung at rallies and protests.
